Renewable Energy Asset Manager /Engineer

EnergyPro is a specialist renewable energy management firm. We analyse and manage over 1GW of installed capacity in Ireland and the UK.

Due to our continued expansion, we want to add a highly skilled renewable energy asset manager /engineer to our team. The role is to assist the current asset management team in looking after the existing fleet of operational wind farms, solar farms and battery energy plants. The asset management team is tasked with keeping the assets operating at a high level and ensuring Health, Safety & environmental standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Learning on the job to be a renewable energy asset manager

• Assisting the current team with a range of tasks#

• Writing and checking reports

• Review and preparation of site documents and monthly reports

• Site inspections including climbing turbines and completing reports

Required Attributes:

• Relevant honours degree in renewable energy or engineering

• Excellent computer & AI skills

• Brilliant attention to detail

• Great organisational skills

• Ability to work on own initiative

• Superb written and verbal communication skills

• Highly computer literate (particularly in MS Office)

• Ability to perform tasks at height, including climbing wind turbines.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience in or knowledge of the renewable energy industry

• Experience in IT systems and an interest in cyber security

• Writing and presentation skills

• Skills in other programs like the Adobe suite etc.

Training and support will be available in the role if any or all of the above criteria are not met.
